16 competitors in the GTE Class went head-to-head in the pit stop challenge. No surprise, the NASCAR crew from Hendrick Motorsports won.

Le Mans, France - NASCAR brought an A-List team of crew guys to France with them for the 24 Hours de Le Mans. Their crew consists of 5 Cup Series pit crew members from Hendrick Motorsports. Although Garage 56 is a standalone race class, the team was pressed into action against the best that the GTE Class has to offer. To make it even harder, they were to only team to use a manual jack just like they do in NASCAR competition.
With a time of 10.3 seconds, the NASCAR Garage 56 crew edged out Northwest AMR by 0.12 seconds to take the top spot in the class. That 10.3 second time was even good enough for the 5th overall fastest time by only 0.3 seconds. What was most impressive, this was the first time the team had worked together in a competition setting. Per HMS Pit Crew Coach Evan Kureczka “It was actually our fastest stop of the day, so I would say I was surprised, but also very pleased." The Hendrick crew consists of,
