 The 65th running of the Daytona 500 had a lot going on and the last 30 laps had people on the edge of their seats. The fans should receive a partial refund because they did not use their seats for the last few restarts and damn this 500 didn't disappoint.

Chase Elliott's last Craftsman Truck Series race was the Bristol Dirt race back in April of 2022. He however has never run a Truck Series race at a superspeedway... Until now that is. Chase will fill in for 17 year old Jake Garcia at the upcoming Craftsman Truck season opener at Daytona International Speedway in the McAnally-Hilgemann Racing #35 Gates Hydraulics Chevrolet Silverado. The pairing comes courtesy of Elliott and MHR's joint sponsor NAPA Auto parts. Elliott and later Garcia, will have help from atop the pit box from 3 year MHR crew chief Mark Hillman. |
