Ty Gibbs has become arguably the most hated driver in the entire sport with his careless attitude over the season as well as (of course) his intentional shoving of teammate Brandon Jones. He then followed that up with this doozy on NASCAR XM With Blair B. Lang "Jesus was hated first and among all the people", whether intentionally or unintentionally comparing himself to Jesus.. the fans HATED it. But today is Media Day in Phoenix and it's not just the fans dogging on young Mr. Gibbs. Reigning Truck Series champion came up to Ty during his time in the bullpen and asked "You walking on water?" Arguably the biggest critic of his competitor was Noah Gragson. And man... Noah let him have it. When talking about Ty, he flat out said "Just voicing my opinion, I don't like him... Just speaking like everybody doesn't want to say but they feel it." When Noah was asked why he doesn't like Ty he laughed, "What is there to? (like)" "Just over it." When Noah was asked if Ty would race maybe less aggressive, He said "He doesn't care... he lives in fantasy land." 'I'm sick and tired of the ‘I’m sorry and I’m trying to learn’ deal. It’s been two years.” Post race at Martinsville, Noah walked behind Brandon Jones and you could hear him say "beat his ass" behind the camera.

Tom Luttermoser"Being a NASCAR fan since the mid-90s, I've seen my sport go through immense changes, from Earnhardt to Gordon, Gordon to Johnson, Johnson to the "Big 3". Petty's 200 to Busch's 229*. I've seen 2 generations of racers and 4 generations of racecars. I've seen the peak of the sport, I've seen the loss of a legend. I can, in fact say.. This is the greatest time our sport has seen since its golden era and it will do nothing but grow from here. We talk about the Golden Era, The Modern Era. I think, We're entering the NEXT GEN Era."
