Cup: Ross Chastain Xfinity: Cole Custer Trucks: Christian Eckes
For about a year now, Ross Chastain has become a terror to many on the track and to many in the stands. For context, Ross has always been a very aggressive driver and made some questionable moves that have both impressed and pissed off fans and drivers alike. Chastain never got an opportunity with a great team so those moves were necessary at times until last year.
But with drivers like Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin calling Ross out what seems like every weekend, something had to give. Insert Noah Gragson. Gragson is in his rookie season in the Cup Series and not had a ton of run ins with Ross as Ross only ran the occasional race in Xfinity over the last couple seasons due to the Kyle Busch Rule of 5 races per season for Cup regulars. Sunday afternoon's AdventHealth 500 at Kansas brought the 2 together later in the race with Chastain running Gragson high out of turn 4, Gragson hit the wall pretty hard and came down dooring the 1 of Chastain. Some laps later, Gragson would lose a tire and spin taking away from a somewhat salvaged day. Post race, Gragson came to approach Ross and confrunt him where he proceeded to grab Ross's firesuit. Ross can be heard telling him to stop before delivering a right rook to the side of Gragson. But fans all over social media have praised Noah Gragson for being the first driver to actually stand up to Ross. Noah was soon on MRN saying "I'm sick and tired of it. The guys just runs into everyone. When you got guys like Chase Elliott and other guys telling you to beat his ass, everyone's sick and tired of hum but nobody has the balls to go up and get him."

Tom Luttermoser"Being a NASCAR fan since the mid-90s, I've seen my sport go through immense changes, from Earnhardt to Gordon, Gordon to Johnson, Johnson to the "Big 3". Petty's 200 to Busch's 229*. I've seen 2 generations of racers and 4 generations of racecars. I've seen the peak of the sport, I've seen the loss of a legend. I can, in fact say.. This is the greatest time our sport has seen since its golden era and it will do nothing but grow from here. We talk about the Golden Era, The Modern Era. I think, We're entering the NEXT GEN Era."
