In a press release from Hendrick Motorsports Wednesday it was announced that driver of their #48 Ally Chevrolet, Alex Bowman will miss the next 3 races including Las Vegas, Homestead-Miami & Martinsville. Bowman spun out of Turn 4 and backed into the wall at Texas a couple weeks ago and has been out for the previous 2 races at Talladega and the Charlotte ROVAL with concussion like symptoms. Bowman's seat in the 48 has been and will continue to be filled by Xfinity Series Championship favorite Noah Gragson. Gragson is the driver or the JR Motorsports #9 Chevrolet in the Xfinity Series and Hendrick Motorsports contract relief driver for 2022 as well as a Part-time driver for Kaulig Racing's #16 in the Cup Series as well. Noah will be taking over the PettyGMS #42 Chevrolet next season, so this is some fantastic seat time in a top tier ride and he has already scored a top-10 for the team at Dega. Nothing official as this being published, but I expect AJ Allmendinger to take over the remainder of Noah's responsibility in the Kaulig 16 Cup car.

Tom Luttermoser"Being a NASCAR fan since the mid-90s, I've seen my sport go through immense changes, from Earnhardt to Gordon, Gordon to Johnson, Johnson to the "Big 3". Petty's 200 to Busch's 229*. I've seen 2 generations of racers and 4 generations of racecars. I've seen the peak of the sport, I've seen the loss of a legend. I can, in fact say.. This is the greatest time our sport has seen since its golden era and it will do nothing but grow from here. We talk about the Golden Era, The Modern Era. I think, We're entering the NEXT GEN Era."
